Project Description: The STH 15 east basin will be constructed as a dry detention basin to serve as a flood control facility.  The construction of this basin is located on a Town-owned property north of STH 15 and west of Ellen Lane.  The completion of this project will control peak flows during rain events to reduce flooding impacts of Town infrastructure and private properties downstream.  The STH 15 west basin will be constructed as a wet detention basin to increase the capacity of the existing flood control facility as well as provide stormwater quality control.  The construction of this wet basin is located on a commercial property west of Buttercup Court.  The completion of this project will reduce flooding events of nearby residential properties that have been historically affected.
