Mission Statement: Greenville 1st Responders strive to improve patient outcomes by quickly providing the latest techniques and highest quality of prehospital emergency care to Greenville residents in their time of need.
Message from the Coordinator:
I have been a member of Greenville’s First responders since October of 1992 about 4 months after the group was formed. I did the first responder class as a requirement of an apprenticeship I was taking and all the first aid classes were full. Turns out that I have found it to be rewarding and challenging and an excellent way to give back to a town I have grown to love.
First responder skills have changed a lot since 1992 and our group has embraced them as the state has approved them. This can be a big time commitment but something our group is more than willing to do to help anyone in need of medical help.
I am very proud to be part of a caring compassionate and knowledgeable group. I am also very humbled to be the leader of a group that feels more like a family than a medical group.
So if you need help in Greenville a 911 call is all you need and help is on the way.
