ORDINANCE NO. 37

Ordinance Establishing a Fee to Recover Costs for
Fire Call Responses to Vehicles on a Highway

      Whereas, the Town Board of Greenville deems it appropriate pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Sections 60.55 and 60.557, as a Township with Village Powers, to establish a fee to recover the costs for fire call responses to vehicles on State and County Highways.

      Therefore, the Town Board of Supervisors to the Town of Greenville, Outagamie County, Wisconsin do hereby ordain:

  1. Pursuant to the authority conferred by Sections 60.55 and 60.557 of the Wisconsin Statutes, there is hereby created and established a fee of $500.00 for a fire call responding to a vehicle fire or accident on a public highway. The Fire Department shall maintain a record of all such fire and accident calls and shall submit such records to the Town Clerk for subsequent billing and collection.
