Sanitary District Meeting Minutes

Sanitary District #1

Call Sanitary District meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.  

Present:  Randy Leiker, Andy Peters, Tom Becher and Mike Woods.  Mark Strobel was excused.

Has agenda been properly posted?  Yes

Review and approve the December Sanitary District minutes. 
Tom Becher made a motion to approve the December meeting minutes.  Mike Woods seconded the motion and it was carried.

Review and approve the January Sanitary District vouchers.   Andy Peters made a motion to approve the January vouchers.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Superintendent’s report                  
Tom Becher questioned the well at the airport on the arsenic study.  What is going on?   Don Schinke stated they are going to cease the study.  Everything is coming in below standards so they are done studying.  We will take ownership of all the arsenic equipment.  The study and the sampling are done.

There is a still a little bit of sand in the well but it is controllable.  The water in the mobile home park is in.  They are now working on the services.  They are having some problems because of the snow and TV and dish cables.

Andy Peters made a motion to adjourn the Sanitary District #1 meeting. Mike Woods seconded the motion and it was carried and adjourned at 7:40 p.m.

Sanitary District #2

The meeting was called to order at 7: 40 p.m.

Approve December Stormwater Utility minutes. 
Mike Woods made a motion to approve the December meeting minutes.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Approve January Stormwater Utility vouchers.   
Andy Peters made a motion to approve the January vouchers. Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Public participation – comments and/or questions.
Randy Immel questioned if the Town can review putting another culvert in across Everglade Road to prevent flooding.  Dean Schiller stated McMahon is doing work for us for a grant.  They will be coming back with some recommendations.  We can then look at that area at that time.

Monthly report on erosion control.     
Andy Peters made a motion to approve the monthly report.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Public Works Supervisor stormwater report - accept.
Mike Woods made a motion to accept the report.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Adjourn Stormwater Utility Meeting.
Tom Becher made a motion to adjourn the Stormwater meeting. Mike Woods seconded the motion and it was carried and adjourned at 7:44 p.m.
