Sanitary District Meeting Minutes

The meeting was called to order at 6:55 p.m.

Present:  Randy Leiker, Andy Peters, Tom Becher, Mark Strobel and Mike Woods

The agenda was properly posted.

Minutes and Vouchers
Mark Strobel made a motion to approve the October meeting minutes.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Tom Becher made a motion to approve the November vouchers.  Mike Woods seconded the motion and it was carried.

Superintendent’s Report
Don Schinke stated a pre-construction meeting was held for the trailer park for the water installation.  They are trying to move the waterway off the roadway to save on repaving costs to save money for them.  They are going into the trailers at points where it is convenient.  They may bring in one line and branch off for four trailers.

The pre-construction meeting for Crestview Subdivision will be held on November 15^th.  They may or may not get the mound system in this fall.  It cannot be too wet.  Mr. Welhouse wants to start the roads this year.

Tom Becher made a motion to adjourn the Sanitary District #1 meeting.  Mike Woods seconded the motion and it was carried and adjourned at 7:01 p.m.

Sanitary District #2 - Stormwater

  The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m.

  Minutes and Vouchers
Mark Strobel made a motion to approve the October meeting minutes.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.

Tom Becher made a motion to approve the November vouchers.  Mark Strobel seconded the motion and it was carried.

Public Participation
Sue Behm questioned if anything was being done on the swamp.  Something has to be done downstream first.  We could ask the property owners to clean it up.  This item should be put on the next strategic planning meeting.

Monthly report on erosion control
Mike Woods made a motion to approve the report.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried. 

Public Works Supervisor Stormwater report – accept
Dean Schiller stated he has been working on the Amber Fields pond and the Beacon Hills pond.

Mark Strobel made a motion to accept the report.  Tom Becher seconded the report and it was carried.

Mark Strobel made a motion to adjourn the Stormwater meeting.  Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried and adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
