Sanitary District Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order at 6:41
p.m.
Present: Andy Peters, Tom
Becher, Mark Strobel and Mike Woods. Randy
Leiker was excused.
The agenda was properly posted.
Minutes and
Vouchers
Mark Strobel made a motion to approve the
September meeting minutes. Tom
Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.
Mike Woods made a motion to approve the October vouchers.
Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.
Public
Participation – comments and/or questions.
None
Reimbursement
to Moonlight Meadows Subdivision for construction of larger, deeper sewer
infrastructure
Bob Orth stated that a lift station will cost more
than the deeper sewer and we do not want another lift station.
This sewer can then be used for expansion to the west when it is
needed. Don Schinke is
comfortable with the numbers. The
developer chose Carl Bowers to do the sewer work.
Tom Becher made a motion to move forward on this.
Mark Strobel seconded the motion and it was carried.
The meeting was recessed at 7:07
Stormwater
Utility
The meeting was called to order at 7:07 p.m.
Minutes and Vouchers
Mike Woods made a motion to approve the September meeting minutes.
Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.
Mike Woods made a motion to approve the October vouchers.
Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.
Public Works Supervisor report –
accept
Mark Strobel made a motion to accept the report.
Tom Becher seconded the motion and it was carried.
The meeting was recessed at 7:10 p.m.
Closed Session – Sanitary Districts
#1 & #2 – per State Statutes 19.85 (1) (e) for negotiation of possible
sale of old landfill and possible purchase of parkland.
Mark Strobel made a motion to go into closed session.
Tom Becher seconded the motion with all members voting aye.
Closed session business.
A motion was made and seconded to come out of closed session with all
members voting aye.
Tom Becher made a motion to adjourn both Sanitary District meetings.
Mark Strobel seconded the motion and it was carried.
