Recycling information

Please do not mix paper
in with the recyclable plastic, glass, tin and aluminum.

Recyclable materials must
be placed at the curb in a reusable container. DO NOT PLACE
MATERIALS OUT FOR COLLECTION IN PLASTIC BAGS. Reusable containers
must be between 15 and 33 gallons in size with handles on the outside of
them. TO INSURE THE SAFETY OF THE COLLECTOR, ALL CONTAINERS MUST
WEIGH LESS THAN 50 POUNDS WHEN SET AT THE CURB. Container must
also be marked with an Outagamie County Recycling sticker. To

shredded paper can be
recycled. However, keeping it from blowing away can be a
challenge. For simple handling, place it in a brown paper bag and
tape or staple the bag shut, and then place in with the rest of your
paper recycling.

Be sure recycling
containers are placed in an area that is easily accessible to the
collector. DO NOT place recycling binds on top or behind snow
banks.

Containers may need to be
secured on windy days.

Paper can be set out for
recycling in paper bags, a cardboard box no larger than 3' X 3' X 1' or
a reusable container which is between 15 and 33 gallons with handles on
the outside. Cardboard should be brown down to a 3' X 3/ or less
size and can be bundled together with twine or tape.
