Anticipated Timeline: Phase One: Construction Completed in 2021 / Phase Two: April-May 2022
Project Description: Reconstruction of Greenwood Road between STH 15 and Parkview Drive. Greenwood Road is proposed to be urbanized to accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians. The existing typical section for Greenwood Road is two 11 foot travel lanes with one foot gravel shoulders. A preliminary proposed typical section for Greenwood Road would include widened 12 foot travel lanes with 5 foot bike lanes, curb & gutter, and 5 foot sidewalks on each side of the road. This project will also include replacing water main and sanitary sewer, as well as installing storm sewer. Construction is expected to take approximately 6-8 months to complete.
